GSR dash in my eg hatch
I'm buying a gsr dash for $100 WITH the guage cluster and everything. I was wondering about the gauge cluster... does it just plug in? will the speedomoter still work right? I did a search, but came up with nothing. thanks

No it isn't all just plug in either. The guage cluster will not work. You can make it work but you have to rewire it. I know first hand because i just did my own swap in my 92 SI. Ask me for more details.

You don't have to rewire anything. It all plugs right in. One plug you'll have to cut the sides out of to fit and add three wires. Look at my other post for what you need.

Re: GSR dash in my eg hatch (ImportHatch)
its really easy, as far as repinning the gray plug, piece of cake, all u need is a little common sense. yes, reusing the civics hazard plug is extremely ghetto. i got the civic plug in my car now, only because i dont have the integra one yet. it doesnt quite fit right in the car, but looks a hell of alot better than the civic dash. its a simple swap if u have half a brain. should only take a couple hrs for the dash, the wiring is easy too, but figuring out locations is a bit harder for repinning. should take no more than 4 hrs for all.

Good lord, you have to get all that stuff from the GSR just to make it work right?? for the dash i mean. Maybe i'm better off just getting the gauge cluster. btw, this is importhatch from earlier, i was on his comp.

Re: GSR dash in my eg hatch (JFK.com)
here you go.. i did not want to do the whole dash cause the door panels do not fit correctly so i just put the guage cluster into my civic dash.. im fine w/ it for now and if i ever do decide to do the whole integra dash i have already rewired the whole cluster wiring so everything else should be cake..
i have made a great wiring diagram of the wires taht need to be either cut and soldered back in or repined, if you want the diagram let me know..

Re: GSR dash in my eg hatch (95CivicEX)
iight sorry everyone i forgot to post the diagram last night, got to late and i fell asleep.. i dont have the exact diagram cause i have deleted the file or lost it on the hard drive but i do have the next best thing, a list of all the wires that are on the eg and dc cluster wiring harnesses..
a few questions to be answered that i have received by email sorry i cant write back to everyone that emailed me.. you will need the harnesses from the back of the integra cluster, the harnesses from an eg civic do NOT fit.. what many people have heard is that the harnesses from an EK civic fit but need tob e trimed or something to work, ive never done an EK cluster swap and have no experiance w/ that year car at all.. so get the harnesses from the local acura dealership or the junkyard..
you will need to do a little triming of the black trim that surronds the cluster in the civic dash, the integra cluster does not fit perfectly.. a dremel and some paitience is all it takes.. this whole project can be done in less than 2 hours if you have experiance w/ electrical things.. you will need wire cutters, electrical tape, soldier (if you soldier the wires) or heatshrink to protect the wires from shorting out..
iight here is the list of all the wires.. just follow it closely and its not tough, there might be a few wires left that dont plug in anywhere but trust me it all works cause ive done it, and some of the wires are the exact same color so that makes it even more easier... good luck, ask me questions if you need either by email, IM, or AIM..

passenger side airbag cover
I called acura and they said they only sell it with the airbag and its a grip. Im buying a dash to put in my 92 cx hatch and dont need the actual airbag, just the cover. Anyone have any ideas on what to do.
