Right if you knew what you were talking about it's actually a bitch to put in. the plugs are different and you have to sand like it's your job. But in the end, it's worth it. I'm doing mine here shortly.

My Car, My GSR cluster, My work done to install it.. i never have had time to go back and fix it yet it to make it perfect but it works for now..
and anyone that says its easy, your wrong.. lots of sanding, rewiring, integra plugs needed and you also need a brain at the same time.. do a search and you will find info on this..

Re: GSR Cluster into EG (Caveman74)
How nice to come back to a topic without any actual hand or write up only talk of looking for it. The one in bold will be the most informative. Wiring isn't as complicated as stated, only finding the correct write up is. Only problem is to determine which write is for your cluster. Make sure you get match the cluster harness with the same year cluster, it will make troubleshooting easier if you have do go through it. I spent far too long working just the wiring for mine due to different year cluster(s) and harness. I also wired it so that I both the Civic and Integra cluster are interchangeable.

Re: GSR Cluster into EG (INVALID)
Wait, I don't understand why if you get different year wire harness it is harder? In the end aren't they just wires?

Yea kinda the expensive route and plenty of head ache but my friend has done it also. He got the integra side mounts ligned them up with the civic and cut them both in the middle where they ligned up and welded them together. Fiberglassed his door panels also

Notice on different year clusters some of the functions are actually configured differently (check engine, seat belt, ecetera). If the pinouts on the gauge cluster are different then so are corresponding ends of the harness, basically the signal would be routing to incorrect functions. Wires are wires sometimes in regards of positive and negative wiring

I just like the teg cluster better than the EG. the gauges are bigger. But if it is a pain in the *** then screw it. My cluster quit working. The speedo quit, and I have replaced the VSS. So I'm going to the last resort on replacing the cluster

Cool, thanks man. I just never read anything about getting different plugs.
Yes I know there are 5 pages on how to wire it. I actually have them saved on my computer. But I've never read anything about different plugs. But whatever, I should have searched
Thanks for the help Invalid
