Default GSR cd / radio deck into an 98 civic

i have a 98 integ gsr deck for my 98 civic... i was told its from a canadian model.. i don't know if that makes a difference from the usdm models, but the plugs don't match up

so do the canadian and usdm decks have different plugs?
or is it, that they don't and i need to find a GSR plug from a canadian model gsr?

can someone give me some helpful advice

get a conversion wiring harness from best buy or circuit city.. basically is a factory plug you solder and tape on that the car harness will fit the cd player harness.. not hard at all to do..

i don't know if you can see the pins but its like this
|- - - - - - -|- -_ _ _ _ _ _ - -|
|- - - - - - -|- -_ _ _ _ _ _ - -|
7pin 10pin
7pin 10pin
thats how it looks..i'll try to get pictures of my plug because they are to wide to plug in. yea can someone tell me if this is how it is on the back of a USDM deck.. cause if it is, it wont plug in and i'll probably have to buy a factory harness or something to try to make it work.. thanks

I am almost posative that it is different from the US spec.
I know that almost every jdm honda radio plug is the same,
and I used one on a usdm 5th gen civic tape deck.

edit- oh yeah, my point is that I think the gsr has the same
plugs as everything else. I will look on a jdm gsr tomorow
for you. Thats a good question.

the plugs wouldn't match up either way, whether american or canadian.

all i did was buy the 98+ factory style plugs that plugged into deck and an 88-98 plug that plug went into my stock harness and just connected all the wires and everything works.. but still wasn't plug and play with a 98 GSR deck into my 98 civic.. i think it might have worked with a 94-97 integ deck... but i don't know cause i haven't seen the back side of a 94-97 deck...
