GSR with cable tranny... putting in hydro tranny.. need some help

Default GSR with cable tranny... putting in hydro tranny.. need some help

I have a GSR motor right now i am putting a hydro tranny on it. It came with a cable tranny. Will i need to change the clutch and flywheel as well?? thanks

I know for a fact D-series Cable/Hydro transmissions use different clutches/pp/flywheels, I'd imagine B-series are the same way.

They use the same flywheels no matter if its cable or hydro... so you don't know for a fact. And some cable d-series use the same clutch as a hydro it just depends on the year. It depends on the splines if you need a new clutch or not. If it's a big spline cable tranny then you don't need a new clutch. But if it's small spline you will. Usually YS1's and Y1's are big spline. What's the tranny code?
