Default gsr brakes on civic cx.

i need to know if i need the gsr e-brake cables when doing the gsr brake conversion on my cx, or can i use the cx e-brake cables on the gsr brakes. i don't have the gsr e-brake cables so someone tell me i can use the cx ones.

you can't use the cx ones because they are seutp for drums, whereas the gsr has rear discs. Do a search, there are a lot of people here who have done this swap. If you have a 6G, then I think that you can use the e-brake cables from the 99-00 Civic SI (IIRC, wheelbase for hatches/coupes is the same). If you have a 5G, then I think that you can use the e-brake cables from the 94-95 Civic SI.
