GSR Brake Swap Fitment Issues
I've been researching the GSR brake swap for my 93 CX for a little while, and I am really wanting to do this to get rid of my drum brakes. Honestly I am only looking to do this swap because of the better braking feel and efficiency one, and the ease of working on disc brakes vs. drums. Anyways, I just bought 4 1989 CRX Si wheels for a set of lugnuts, and slapped brand new Falken's on them. I want to do this brake swap soon, because after getting rid of the shaking I was experiencing above 70 mph, I am pretty much convinced my rotors are warped in the front. I was driving last night on the brand new tires (breaking them in ), and had to brake pretty hard in a couple turns, and felt a shuddering come through the brake pedal. Will the GSR rotors and caliper fit under the 14 x 6.5 rims? The only thing I've been able to find really was that it will fit under most 15" rims. Thanks for any help.

Cool thanks ... Have you seen this setup in person? I want to make sure before I call Import Auto Salvage.

Re: GSR Brake Swap Fitment Issues (EHMk2)
Hey why don't you do front brakes first, it's what causing your wheel to shake (prolly warped rotors). I just upgraded the front brakes with SIRII brakes stops like crazy no brake fade and pedal feel is awesome.

it cleared integra ls rims on cx. You can alway grind the calipers down and it should fit fine as long as you don't have 13s I think

13s will fit in the rear, but wont fit up front
14's will clear diameter-wise. the problem is offset and/or the design of the spokes. some work, some dont.

Re: GSR Brake Swap Fitment Issues (HUBB)
Thanks for all the replies. I was planning on doing them all at once just to be done with it. The way I see it is that I am already doing 1/2 the job just to replace the front, why not do it all? Also with the Integra lower control arms I'll be able to install front and rear sway bars. Its the brake system that keeps on giving.

Re: GSR Brake Swap Fitment Issues (EHMk2)
Be careful of the rear lower control arms, especially on the rear, i could not use the rear l.c.a's on my EK (98 ex) because they were too short and caused me to have some serious pos. camber. Just be prepared to reuse your old lower control arms. GOOD LUCK, you will like the look and the added stopping.
