GSR B18C1 into my 1992 Civic CX HELP!!
I am currently doing a B18C1 integra Gsr motor into my 92 civic cx and everything is good but now some problems. I wired the Vtec Solenoid and Pressure sensors up. I havent wire any other sensors from what I know you need to wire the knock sensor, evap purge power, evap purge solenoid, and secondary intake solenoid. Well what my problem is when i start it and let it idle, it starts at a lil under 1000rpms then revs itself to a little over 2000rpms,then lets off and it just keeps doing this, rev up,let off, etc, I had this problem on my buddies D16 swap into a 92 CX and on HIS car I hardwired the MAP sensor and the TP Sensor to the ecu and it fixed it. Tonight, I hard wired the MAP sensor and TP Sensor from the gsr to the ecu and NO CHANGE! it still revs and lets off, idle is pissing me off!! Well, when I had the WHOLE Connector for the D pins into the ecu pulled out, it idled fine at 1000, but when I plugged the D back into ecu, it started the revving crap again, let me know PLEASE HELP!!

Check your throttle cable. Mine did this when I accidentally left it clipped up when doing some engine work.

Check the IAC sensor. (one in the back of the intake manifold with two coolant lines out the bottom of it) if this is not hooked up, it will cause this problem, or like when i rewired my motor, i hooked the evap purge (which is useless) to the IAC sensor, the second i had the IAC correctly wired, it was golden. Im me if more help is needed.
