Use your stock DX harness and modify as needed.

You'll need to add:

- VTEC solenoid wire (connector A pin 8)
- IAB (secondaries) wire (connector A pin 26)
- Knock Sensor wire (connector D pin 6)
- VTEC Pressure Switch wire (connector C pin 15)

You will also need to change your IACV connector from 3 pin to 2 pin. When you look at your current IACV connector it'll have 3 wires (orange, black/blue, yellow/black).

Disconnect all 3 wires from your 3 pin connector, disregard the orange one, and wire the 2 wires you have left (black/blue, yellow/black) to a 2 pin round style connector.

You can get the round IACV connector from the gsr harness or whatever harness you have laying around. Harnesses usually have quite a few of these, just find a plug that fits the GSR IACV and use that.

It's a GSR motor, and the P72 is a GSR ecu, so it will work better than anything else.

You don't need a P72 unless your going to wire in the IAB's which IMO is a waste of time (my car is wired for IAB's) and P72's OBD2 are easy to find but as far as tuning your SOL. Remove the IAB's from your IM before you install the engine and use a chipped P28 with OBD2->OBD1 wiring harness. You will achieve much better results

i would prefer a chipped p28 with the obd2 to obd1 jumper harness

I have to disagree, I've seen a few dyno plots of stock GSR manifold with IAB vs no IAB's and it showed a loss of about 15whp before 5700rpms and like 10-15wtq, after the 5700+rpms there was really no difference (no gains, or loses).

A chipped P28 is a better choice if you're gonna run a manifold like the skunk2 that doesnt have the IABs. If you're running a stock GSR IM you're better off with the P72 (IAB's working).
