Gs-r sway bar on civic 97
i got a gsr rear sway bar and si end links for $15.00 I only need to buy the si plates and i'm good to go or i need one of those ASR bars?

I've got one on mine, you'll just have to use some nuts and bolts to attach the plate due to the civic only having non threaded holes in the subframe.

You only "need" the asr brace if you have an ITR bar or something even larger. The GSR bar is pretty dinky.
Need is an overstatement, it just keeps you from ripping out the subframe. When that happens, I don't know. I'm sure some people get away with it, but some people get away with driving full force into stationary objects and walk away. Your mileage may vary.
