uhh.... how long does what take? Taking off a GSR head and putting it back on? I could probably do a head gasket in about an hour or so give or take.

Like 30 minutes to take the old head off, 30 to torque the new one down, reinstall the cam "gaurds" valve cover ext ... and then like 10 to hook all your vacum hoses and **** up. so a GOOD hour, minimum for you.

time should not be your focus. Do some research and do the job right. Torque to specs and use the right pattern also. I've seen a few guys waste good head gaskets not following directions. You'll get faster the more times you complete a task.

do you guys think this is wise of me to do.... to do the gs-r head swap?

i hear once you put a gs-r head on a LS, you get really bad valve clearance and more problems with it.
