ground wire locations on 99 EX SOHC VTEC?
Alright, i already did a search, and this may be a simple question, but can someone please list the ground wire locations on a 99 EX (SOHC VTEC) engine? Also, can they name what type/guage ground wire i am supposed to use for each? My engine is seem'ing to have alot of probs related to crappy ground wires.

There are two ground wires, one from the valve cover to the chassis and one from the tranny to the chassis. I believe the wire is about a 6-8 gauge. Use a Helms manual and it should tell you.

Are you trying to make some DIY grounding wires? If so here are some grounding points that are recommended by Lineage...

Whats wrong with the stock grounding system???
Do you think your missing grounds? Have you tried cleaning the grounds?
Here are just a few:
G1 = Battery
G2 = Steering pump bracket (I don't have power steering, but this ground attached to the valve cover)
G3 = Transmission housing
G101 = Thermostat housing

Off topic, but I LOVE your signature. I think if everybody would take taht advice (along with getting a Helms) there would be many fewer questions asked. And much less bickering.

Because they don't want you to connect it to the exhaust manifold.
