Thats actually a horrible idea. The poor kid is going to get the wrong size and strip those screws to hell, then he will be fucked.

Just go get an allen wrench set and purchase one. It's a metric set. I can't remember the size off hand, but yes it'll work.

Naw I wanted some cookies. Are you ******* stupid? Why not go to home depot where you can get a SET of allen wrenches with DIFFERENT sizes to find the right fitting wrench....no ****?

O **** maybe he should find a place online to import some JDM tuner allenwrenches to adjust coilover height. Seems like any stupid **** here would.
But if he gets em from home depot hes going to have to paint them translucent amber to get that authentic JDM look so when hes adjusting his coilover height everyone in the neighborhood will know that they are not regular allen wrenches, but they are JDM Allen wrenches.

And you're getting all hyped up over an allen wrench.

You should invest in them for the rest of your life since you're the smart one.

Wanna keep going?

Hawd,

You need to calm down and not be so insecure about yourself that you need to lash out at people who are trying to help you (or your friend in this case).

Seriously, all the trash talk on the internet really sickening..

The irony of all this lunacy is that Ground Control is a US company, so introducing JDM hater rhetoric is moronic.

I looked at mine today and it says 3/16 on it. So I am inclined to beleive it is a 3/16 allen wrench.

Why would you send someone to Home Depot for allen wrenches?

MikeHock...go to Sears and get yourself a set of Craftsman SAE and metric allen wrenches. That way you'll have all the allen wrenches you'll ever need and they'll have a 100% full replacement lifetime warranty.

Funny, you call one guy a dipshit and tell him to answer the question, yet you post suggestions for an exhaust in a thread about the tool for loosening the perches on Ground Control coilovers, haha, you owned you.

haha. thanks man.

And I did answer his question, so maybe if you read the thread you wouldn't make yourself look like an idiot.

To MikeHock, allen wrench sets are not much of cost. good luck.

this is how i did mine...

-loosen the lock screw with the 3/16 allen wrench
-twist it left and/or right accordingly.
-tighten lock screw

if yours are aged out a bit, it might require a little extra to get them to move. it did for me at least...

Go to an Ace Hardware and buy the cheapest allen "key" they have. The key looks like a pocket knife with a bunch of different sizes. You should be able to get one for less that 8 bux. Otherwise, they have single wrenches in the drawers with all the nuts and bolts. Ask to go out and try it....offer to leave your DL if they don''t trust you. Allen wrenches and bolts are pretty specific sizes...either it will fit or it won't.

As far as adjusting. Jack up the car, loosen the set screw till the collar turns, spin the collar clockwise to raise it (1 turn equals roughly 1/8") tighten the allen screw, lower the car. Repeat 3 more times. Easy!
