GROSS POLLUTER... now what???
Bought a shell that's a Gross Polluter, what do I need to do to make it legal again?
I've been told to goto a SMOG-ONLY station (why do they call it that anyways?)
What do they check? Is it as strict as the State Ref?

the shell isn't a gross polluter, the engine that used to be in there is. once you put a engine in you
have to go to a test only center or a ref station if it passes then your all good

Like they said earlier, the engine is a gross polluter. IF you swap the engine, they're gonna check the VIN's. Smog Only means that they are state run so you cant pay the guy to let you pass. They check to make sure all your emissions stuff is there and in working condition. They'll probably know
