grommets in hatch glass...
it's a 94 hatchback and the little grommets on the bottom of the right and left sides that the shocks thread into are stripped. how do you pull them out, so I can get new ones so that my window shocks will mount up? also, would it be better to get new ones from honda or used from salvage yard? thanks!

get a new one. most hatch have that problem with the nut sttripping. i believe u take the plastic ring from inside of the hatch off first then push the nut/plastic thing out.

They bend as they strip, just carefully an push them out . Be shure you put the rubbers back on both sides of the glass or you'll be asking how to remove the wireing harness so you can replace the glass.Go ahead and get a couple of sets your hatch will eat them if your not carefull about how you open an close your glass!
