grinding noise?

grinding noise?
so i have a 99 civic ex with 66k and for some reason ive notcied recently that wheneevr i shift from 2nd gear to 3rd it makes like a minor grinding noise and it feels like something is getting in the way a little bit when i shift? i hope its not a big problem any one know about this?
any information would help a lot, thanks!

it doenst grind in neutral, only when i shift from 2nd to 3rd for some reason......i tried all the gears and they all shift smoothly just 2nd to 3rd......

The 3rd gears syncros go out more frequently than every other gear on civic transmissions, they're noted for it. It's your syncro, it's worn, to reduce the problem double clutch - as when you double clutch it eliminates/lowers the work on the syncro.
EDIT:
PS: Obviously you'll have to replace it or something at some point.

i was just going on what's wrong with my tranny which grinds in neutral sometimes (or so i've been told it's my throwout bearing)
