Maybe he's trying to say that IF you have 500hp or more, you'll need the Greddy one because it's m4d tYt3 JDM y0 timing belt made SPECIFICALLY for high horsepower engines? Not sure.

well the only benefits of it would be if you were running a very high hp motor, use your money towards somethin else, oem is by far well enough to support up towards 250 hp

or more.seen plenty of much higher HP producing motors using OEM belts.i have yet to see anything that points to these aftermarket timing belts being any better than OEM.staying up on your maintenance schedule is the best way to prevent a timing belt failure.
BUT,those aftermarket belts sure do look JDM with a cut valve cover and some cool cam gears!
