Default Greddy EVO gains

Alright, before you say it, I did do a search, several actually, and found nothing. I have a clip of a Greddy EVO, I know what it sounds like, I just want to know how much HP it adds to the wheels. Also, if anyone has numbers for some of the other leading exhausts that would be good too. Does the Mugen TL really only add 2-3 whp?

Most cat-backs add about 3-5 hp

Not really worth getting an exhaust if you ask me. if u want more air flow just get bigger piping and save the money. catback exhaust = $400+ .. bigger piping= 100 around there if not lower. then if u want power just save up more money and get like a 60 shot

All I gained on my old 97ex was noise.

RIGHT CLICK then choose "save target as". Its a clip off of my 97ex from 3 years ago.

That's the clip I have, I saved it about a month or so ago. I've got I think 5 different exhaust clips, and I still can't decide what I want. I want one that can be heard, but not annoying, I have a 20 mile highway drive to work everyday.

If you want a quiet exhaust get an Apexi WS. I would love to pick one up, but I refuse to pay $300+ for an exhaust... If only i could find an axle back.

Try looking into a universal muffler (es, magnaflow...something like that) and some bigger piping..also check out RS*R stuff, it seems to be pretty inexpensive!

I've heard clips of the Apexi WS, and it all I can hear is the motor and intake, I want something a little louder than that. Don't want to spend upwards of $400 and have an exhaust that still sounds stock.

Get a ws and remove the resonator from the b-pipe.

or

Get a ws and remove the cat and get a test pipe.

Just a thought.

This is probably gonna be a really stupid question, but what is the b-pipe? And how does it make it quieter with it being on?
