Default GReddy Evo??

I am looking at putting the GReddy Evo exhaust on my 99 Si and I was wondering who has one and if they like it? I had a Tanabe on my 94 and it was pretty loud so I am looking for something quieter then that becuase I drive from Reno to Sacramento almost every weekend and I don't want to listen to exhaust the whole trip. Can the Evo accept a silencer also?? Thanks

The EVO is actually pretty quiet as fas as aftermarket exhausts go. When you're cruising on the highway, you can almost make it disappear with little bit of throttle modulation. I've had mine since Nov. of 01, and I've been pleased with it.

I have one on my R and I like it better than the evo (quiter, and fit is unbeatable)

If I'm not mistaken, I believe you can pick up a Mugen axle-back for like $400 or so. I think there's some pics on jdmhondaparts.com.
The tip is different but it is still quiet, especially over my old tanabe r/m. I have one on my civic hatch, that I had to custom make.

Your exhaust piping is eaxactly 57 mm, whereas a aftermarket are ussually around 60mm, now don't qoute on me this.

I was told this by a friend about the piping size.

can anyone clarify this?

Greddy Evo's are nice exhuasts, they just have that flared tip that looks a little odd to some. I personally like it. Another quiet exhaust to consider is the Apex World Sport exhaust. Both are top notch in the quality dept.

I have a 99 Si and I have the Apexi N1 and I absolutly love this exhaust. I love the way it looks and sounds on my car. I think that it is by far the best exhaust for a honda and its cheaper than the greddy evo. I only paid $425 from http://www.optauto.com and the shipping was not bad at all. I hope that I have helped you out in some way.
