Greddy Emanage

Greddy Emanage
Hi
I have a 99 Civic Si and I want some kind of ECU to make the most of my modz, I would love a Hondata setup but its just too costly but the Greddy Emanage came up.
Has anyone got the unit on a OBD2 car and are they any good? or are there other alternatives.
L.T.

Im gonna go ahead and say I would have to know what kind of "modz" you have to see if the greddy emanage is appropriate, if your motor is n/a and high compression or maybe f.i, but why do you want one?

I use a jumper harness to hop up to OBD II for my Power FC system on my ITB set up, and love it.
Is Hondata more expensive than Emanage over there?

You didnt do much research before modding your car.. you gotta pay to play.
Kit up Kenji on the board. grab one of his ECU's i believe there $180 Max,
then go get a DIY datalogging cable under $50
go to Pgmfi.org and download a copy of Crome $$Free!!
And then grab your laptop or drive to a respectable tuner and let him have at it and your car will run good if the tuner is good.
BTW investing in a wideband o2 sensor helps with tuning.

Re: (The Power of VTEC)
I wouldn't spend the money on an e-Manage - just a personal preference. The question you should ask first, though, is who's tuning the car and what management is he capable of tuning?
