Default great deal but suspicious...

I met this guy through my friend and he is getting rid of his japspec b16 block for 100 bux. he say its completely in tact just needs a head and manifolds and ecu to get it running??? He is going to bring it by my house tommorrow. he claims he has no use for it and he is really into hondas. he just did a gsr swap so he nolonger needs this legit block. he said for 150 cash he will give me the block and stock intake manifold and exhaust manifolds. I really want it but don't want to get screwed. so can you guys help me with what I should look for to see if there are any defects I believe it has 60 - 75k on the block and i know he probably beat on it alot cause he drives like a maniac. Should I take the deal??? What should i pay the most attention too to make sure i get a good working block? I don't want to have it machined and re-worked at all. I just want to get a head and ecu and wire harness and drop it in. I currently hava a 92 bone stock CX so I am building good horsepower and I only hear good things about b16. Any help is really appreciated!!!!!

thanks again,

yea b16a blocks are pretty much worth nothing nowadays. people are block swapping, making ls/vtecs. he probably kept the most valuable stuff, like the head, distributor, throttle body, and got a type r intake manifold. those alone is worth more than 400. tranny is most expensive probably. so 100 is a deal, but its not a screaming deal. good for a spare block. i sold my sohc d16z6 block for that much.

thanks alot for all the help. I know blocks go for that alot but he was including the JDM intake and exhaust manifolds so i thought he was trying to screw me. but seems good. so i am on the prowl for a B16 HEAD and tranny and throttle body now. What distributor will fit the jdm b16 or will most of the usdm b16 parts fit just fine? will a p28 ecu and wire harness work as well? or can i just splice my stock CX harness and wire VTEC seen it done B4 so i am pretty sure it should work. get back to me asap.
