Default got a short someone help!

ok so i think its caused by an aftermarket alarm that was once installed in the car.
This is what happend...i went into sinclair and accidently left my lights on. when i came back out i thought " no big deal..just the battery ill pop the clutch." i tried to pop that damn clutch like 20 times it would try to turn over but would not.

some guy with a huge v8 truck let me charge up my battery in his truck while it was running. so then i put the battery back in the car and turned the key to start it...it wouldnt try to turn over but the gauges and everything lit up so i knew battery was charged.
<br

HERES THE WEIRD PART : when the key was in the start posistion this old alarm light started flashing. and the dash kept lighting up in the back ground and the hazards were flashing and clicking noises were emited from the car. so needless to say this thing was going crazysauce.

i tried it a few more times and waited forever and tried it again and out of no where it started up. but guess what my radio turns off every so often now and my speedometer doesnt work.

so im saying its a short in an old alarm... but i have no idea where to look for the short. and i have no idea if theres a fuse or something i can pull or what. someone give me some pointers on where to look. i missed a whole hour of work

unlock the alarm. it probably has starter interrupt. If you dont have the key, uninstall the alarm. or just uninstall the starter interrupt. Whatever you want to do.

do you know what alarm you have? Just look for the book online and find out, I'm not sure if all alarms have the same wire colors.
