Default got a question that i have not seen any forms on

ok i just bought an sir2 motor from hmotorsonline...and of course all of the damn wires are cut up and ****...the main wires where it connects up at the top right of the firewall were cut off two inches before the damn plastic conector (damn lazy if you ask me two inches could have spared me alot of trouble)ok anyways will my d16z6 wiring harness in my 93 hb si...can i just use my wiring harness of that motor on the b16 or will it not work thanks

its always a good practice to use your stock harness that came with your car's engine.
it should work perfect just ad knock sensor

you may have to lengthen some wires on the stock harness, but it will work just peachy.

they cut the wires for two reasons....

1. Its faster for them to get the motor out of the car/clip to cut whatever they can. ie hoses and wires.

2. Since Japanese cars are RHD!!! The wire harness goes on the opposite side of the car. Since its easier to modify your existing harness then convert one to LHD they cut the harness. (besides you get all the connections that matter/ from the harness to the sensors)

Keep the extra connections, you'll need them later on trust me!

ok i am sorry man i know that i am really stupid but you are talking about me being able to use the wiring harness from the motor in my car now and switch it with my new motor very sorry (please someone smack me)
