Default Got a question.

Just wondering if someone could help me out with this. My woman has a 92 hatch vx, motor shot a rod, went to a Japanese motor place and picked up a d15b vtec, what are the specifications for this motor? it looks exactly like a d16z6? thought i was getting another d15z1 but the intake manifold is way bigger and the header is like the d16z6's. so if i need to replce components of this motor do i look for d16z6 parts??

if anybody can give me a bit of help here it would be much appreciated.

thanks.

being your in washington, im not sure if you have all the smog **** i have here down in la... but if i were you... ide get both motors on the ground and start swaping over all the components.. intake manifold.. all sensors.. and basicly.. leave the head, and block untouched.. should be pretty simple.

does yours look like this..

yes, the JDM D15B motor is the equivalent to the U.S. D16Z6/Y8.
