Got My Car Dynod Today.

Default Got My Car Dynod Today.

98 ek.98 JDM ITR Swap. AEM CAI, Cheap *** 4-2-1 Dc Headers.. The guy told me that i was losing power because i had the dc headers. He told me to get a jdm type r header.
Well here is the dyno sheet.. 178hp and 124 ft-lbs

Yea, the stock header would of done better but who cares since you don't have it. Get a better header, like RMF or SMSP.

2.5 inch collector header + Cam gears + a chipped obd1 ecu & a dyno tune would probably get you around 8-10 more whp.

An example of what a jdm itr motor can make with bolt-ons:

hey mtber, were the cams tuned with the gears or theyre just there for the bling?

I have a JDM ITR header on my GSR - If you do go this route, be warned that you'll need 2.5" JDM gaskets to the exhaust, or just weld it on like I did (lol)

Not bad numbers.. but like others have said get a better header.

The cam timing was changed & made some midrange power

lol...I dyno'd today 201.5whp 137.9tq on dynopack (dyno's low #'s like mustang )dyno. will post graph shortly

untuned spark, cam angles & a/f was all over the place

They're all equally accurate, they just use different reduction factors. Peak numbers aren't what intelligent people look at anyway - the power delivery/area under the curve is why you should get your car slapped onto a dyno.

You can really only compare dynos from the same type of dynamometer.
