I was amazed how relaxed they were when I went. Didn't bat an eye at the JDM ecu(as long as it's p72) or the obd2 cat with the secondary o2 sensor plugged up(obd1 motor). They just checked codes and ran the exhaust test and ran the eo# on my AEM shortram
Basically, wiring is clean, no codes, legal filter, smog runs clean.

Re: (Judah)
Since I seem to be getting a lot of IMs about it:
- When I had my car ref'd it was *not* turbo'd.
- I failed the first two times because of high hc at idle.
- I finally passed by using the basically new cat from my ITR with a plugged up secondary O2 bung.
- I had a JDM P72 ecu when I passed, the ref I went to did not seem to notice/care. He did, however, make sure that it was a P72.
- I had a AEM intake with CARB sticker for the B18C1 engine.
- My car had no codes stored in the ecu, they checked twice just to make sure.
- They did run the VIN number of the motor, but did not ask for the paperwork.
- I did not have to get smogged on the dyno, I hear that now all ref'ing is done on the dyno.
