Got into an accident, need an opinon

I got into a minor accident with my 96 Civic Sedan, and I need a new front bumper. I am gonna obviously replace the bumper myself, and I am just curious good sources to get bumpers. There's a lot of "Primered ready for paint OEM style" front bumpers on ebay for like 45 bucks, just wondering if anyone ordered one of these before, and if they can vouch for fitment or quality, or anything.

Also, should I just go ahead and get the 99-00 front bumper? I've done a lot of searching on here but all I can really figure out is that there are a few tabs that need to be cut off in order to make it fit. Can anyone go into detail about what kind of work is involved exactly in putting a 99-00 front bumper onto a 96-98 sedan? Headlights are the same shape and all of that, correct?

Thanks in advance for any help guys.

Andy

Do a search...you can't just put a 99-00 bumper on a 96-98 car without replacing other parts. And I suggest you go OEM because no aftermarket part (especially some ebay shit) is going to fit like OE Honda.

how come so many people think u can just swap bumpers??? in order to put a 99-00 bumper on 96-98 u need all of the following 99-00...headlights, hood, bumper, grill, fenders...its a whole different front end.

as for the bumper, just search around this site and others, mad people are always sellin stock bumpers. shit i just sold one alittle but ago.

yeah, but the fact still remains... oem honda parts are better than aftermarket parts (for fitment). its just a matter of how much youre willing to pay for a better looking car.
