Can this be fixed?? cleaned?
I know the oxygen sensor is very expensive... mucho $$$, I'd rather not have to buy one...

same thing os wrong on my 97. it may be because of my air intake though. not sure exactly. yeah, those are in upwards of about 80 bucks. you could try to take it out and hit it with an air compressor or wipe it down or something. ill try that myself and let you know if it works

try cleaning like he said. they have special sprays for the electronic stuff. Did you swap in that motor? try resetting the ECU?

you can take carb cleaner and spray it to clean it. i have done that before, BUT you must let it dry completely before you put it back in and crank the car. it could possibly damage the o2.

yup, if you're talking about the primary o2 sensor (i'm assuming you're obdII) then it's going to be upwards of about $220 at the dealership. you cand find used ones for pretty cheap (if not free). search around in the classifieds and im sure you'll be able to locate one.

carb cleaner might salvage it, but if you can get a working one for $20, i'd just buy a new one.

you can buy the "universal ones" at autozone or advance for like $40-$50. but yuo have to cut your old plug and use it on the new one. i have no idea how goof they work though.
