is it bad to drive on cel #54 CKF - crank fluctuation sensor ???
I got my timing belt changed and a y8 intake manifold swap (on a stock y7) like two days ago. Engine seems to be hotter than normal for some reason. I am just wondering how I can wire the jumper so I can get a cel # because I want to know whats wrong with my car so I can bring it back to the shop to fix it. THanks.

Did the shop change the timing belt and intake ?
Let them fix it.
I don't have a Y7 but IMO you have a crankshaft position senor that is not reading correctly or is damaged.

CKF is the sensor at the timing gear
The shop may have ripped the wire or maybe just not reconnected it to the harness.
Take a look and see if it is connected (the wire pops out at the top of the lower timing cover) - if its out, reconnect.
If its in, take it to the shop, they probably broke something...

when i start the car a few times today. i hear some gear grinding noise when the car is trying to crank, then i hear the ignition starting the car. the car starts and drives fine except for the gear grinding on ignition and cel# 54
is it bad to keep doing this and driving on it for one more day before i take it back to the shop tomorrow?
