got car tune and went to fontana track
 

hey guys, i got my car tune at church automotive a little over a week ago and they said my compression was low and it was smoking more then normal so they couldnt do much to it.

HP = 174.2
mph = 114
rpm = 7389

motor mod
97 GSR
chipped p28
jdm b16 LSD
DC JDM header
falken azenis tires
skunk manifold and stage 1 cams
aem CAI
and a few other stuff
they did a compression test and it was 150 on all four cylinder https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emthdown.gif (probably blown piston rings) in a little over a month it ate 1 1/2 quart oil

here's my track time at fontana

R/T.....= .512
60'......= 2.180
330.....= 6.048
1/8......= 9.305
MPH....= 75.82
1000...= 12.113
1/4......= 14.507
MPH..= 93.97

i wanted low 14's but i guess i gotta change my piston to get a better time https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emthdown.gif oh well, i think thats still a good time, wat do u guys think? or is it my driving?

It sounds like it should be a little faster then that, but i'm really not an expert. Post up some new times when you get those piston rings fixed https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Man you had a really good R/T and 60 foot time....some fresh rings in that motor and you'd be hitting 14.2 I would think at least.
