ANyone in the beaumont, TX about 1 hour outside of houston. know of a good shop or mechanic to take my HOnda to??

On the lower right side of http://cartalk.com/, one can enter one's zip code and shops near this zip code come up, with reviews from folks who used the shops. Several shops with a few reviews come up for your area. It might be one place to start. This cartalk site turned up my favorite shop (when I am not doing my own work; mostly I send others to them) and gave it incredible reviews, which did not surprise me. So there seems to be at least some legitimacy to this site.

Keep in mind that whatever a shop wants to do to your car can always be run by people here at honda-tech for reasonableness of the repair, given the symptoms, and estimated cost.

So your saying tha people on here will do the work?? cause I have no tools or anything to work with.

I meant that you can describe, in a post here at honda-tech.com, whatever a shop wants to do to your car and how much they say they'll charge to do it. Then people will respond to your post with their own posts, giving their opinion, based on their experience, of whether what the shop wants to do and charge is reasonable.

There are also from time to time people who will chime in and say they live close by and can do the work for you for such-and-such a charge.
