Default this is a good setup

Have anyone ever tried to take a gsr block and put a b16 head on it.

Or wise versa.

any advantegas to this???

well, if you do a search, you will see that the gsr head has slightly smaller combustion chambers, therefore you will sacrafice some compression.

If you use the ITR pistons, with the pr3(b16) head you can make a "poor mans ITR"

The only real advantage of the B16 head is the fact that a type r manifold will bolt right on, where as modification is needed for the gsr to accept that mani.

if you dont have the parts lying around, dont waste your time, with the head design of the pr3 and the lack of compression, that 1.8 will be torqueless.
-great turbo setup, high flow and you can squeeze a little more PSI with the 9.7 or so compression.

Thei WILL turn into a gsr vs B16 head thread, dear god is there arent 1000's of them already.
