No. It's like buying used motor oil.

It's a wear item. Just spend the extra money and buy a brand new one. Does the concept of "peace of mind" mean anything to you?

not for $200.
I bought a used clutch and it worked great. I only paid like $30 for it though. I wish I had it in my car now (was in my last car which I sold).

No, bad idea. Unless you were there and you know how the car was driven for those 12k and if it was cheaper. Just keep saving, you are like half way there for a good new clutch.

Damn, I need to start selling my used clutches! I wouldn't expect to get $50 for a used clutch, this means that I have about $600 worth of stuff sitting in my shop! Time for it to hit ebay.
Seriously, get a new clutch.

If your clutch is slipping, yes a brand new act clutch would make a huge difference.

it all depends on how long this clutch is gonna last you...seriously you have no idea how it is or anything until its already installed, which could be a waste of time and money..but on the other hand it might be really good...i got a stage 2 exedy clutch off my boy for 50 bucks lol when he crashed his car n ive had it in my hatch for about 6 months...if ur willing to take that risk then do it
