it depends on what the reason for the salvage title was for, was it wrecked beyond repair? was it stolen and stripped? i would buy a car that was stolen and stripped but i would not buy one that was in a fire/flood/wreck etc...

so good luck with that, run the VIN and it will tell you why it was slaveaged

If you would buy a car that was stolen or stripped you should just F**K off right now. You are not an upstanding member of the Honda community and you should go back to hanging out with whatever other idiots you hang out with.

Keep Honda enthusiasm respectful of Honda itself. Soichiro didn't make cars so f**cks like you could support those who steal them. Have some respect you f**k. You are no better than a thief.</TD></TR></TABLE>

i think he means.. stolen.. as in.. already reported to the dmv.. and now has a salvaged title.. not as in, stolen (bought from someone who stole it) hopefully..

First of all. I an''t no f***ing thief. I'd kill someone if they tried to steal anything that belongs to me. I have much respect for any mans property .I wouldn't buy stolen property either so don't label me biatch. My car isn't stolen its salvaged from a wreck. The front passenger side. I bought like that. The body has already been repaired, but i was just curious to know if there is any way yu can tell if there is frame damage and if it is repairable.Whereis a good place to go to get that checked.Positive comments only!!!!!!

Thieves and no it alls

to OP... if it is just salvaged due to theft and not due to damage... then it will still have its integrity.. just will be harder to resale

restoring stolen recos supports Honda's retail parts division. Honda makes more money on parts than they do on new car sales every year.

okay so i bought my car ( 99 civic ex coupe ) from a family friend who fixes wrecked cars. It was in a front passenger collision that smashed the radiator support so he had to pull that back and all is good now save for a slight height difference on one side. That would lead me to believe mine is salvaged but upon looking at the pink slip, there is no mention of salvage or in any of the other paperwork from the DMV. Is it really salvaged?? Is there any other way of telling other than running the VIN. I dont want to spend the money to buy a membership to vehix or carfax right now
