As you can see, the collar is actually widening from the load of the car and will eventually brake. I`d hate to see it happen at any decent speed!

The springs were highly fatigued too.

Be safe, People.

that sucks, they are prolly some cheap ones on ebay. i have seen a set of four for as cheap as 60 bucks shipped.

we can also eliminate eibach springs from the search

Thats kind of scary. If that sleeved failed, would you be able to limp the car on the strut, or would that blow pretty quickly thereafter?

why do companies make cheap products that could be potentially dangerous?

this just upsets me, i reckon these companies do not have a conscience and can sleep at night while their customers are out on this dangerous product. But also, could the driver cause this to happen?

like Gambit said, the brand has been mentioned above and the color is a dead give-away, but just PM me to find out, i'm like Gambit, not about bashing a company publicly.

My first set of coils were some matrix ones from ebay, after having them for about a year I decided to replace them and found both of the front sleeves cracked about 1/2 of an inch, from the bottom up
