Good Deal? Honda Civic for $500 bucks?
Some people I know have a 1994 civic they wrecked it and they said that it needs a front bumper and a headlight. Seems like a good deal to me. If I do get it what do you guys think I should do to it? Just some thoughts from you guys.

Yeah it runs. I was like for $500 bucks if it is not worth fixing ill strip it and sell the parts.

Re: Good Deal? Honda Civic for $500 bucks? (1996_civic_Coupe)
I looked at a '92 EX-V sedan on the weekend for $200, loaded, except it didn't have air, and for some reason it had a block off plate where the passengers side mirror should have gone. I drove an hour and a half to look at it and took a tow dolly with me. I still passed, rear brakes were seized, automatic tranny, i knew this before i went to see it, but it didn't help my descion. It had a factory D16Z6, but I think it had a blown headgasket (white deposites on the spark plugs, which also looked like they were replaced never ago) body was done. rear quarter panels were a combination of bodyfill and nothing, passengers side front door had about 6 inches rusted off the back end of it, not the bottom, the rear of the door. passengers side fender had a rust hole in it about the size of a softball. add to all this that the guy didn't have any plates, registration was still in the last persons name and he didn't have keys. I probably still would have bought if i could have gotten it started and it ran ok, beat the ignition switch out with a screwdriver and found out the battery was dead. Anyway my point is even at $200 this was hardly worth buying, if i wasn't in to civics i would gladly pay someone $200 to haul it away.
