Default is this a good deal ?

i just came back from a close by shop . i just ordered a 97-98 LS full swap (head, block, axels, ecu, harness and TRANNY everything i need minus shift linkage and mototr mounts) for $800 . is that a bad , fair, good, or really good deal ? he also offered me an lsr swap for $1600 . thats $800 more . meanning lets say the ls head is worth about $200 , that means its $1,000 more for the LSR . wich one is a better deal ? how much do b16 heads go for ?

Probably an LS/Vtechk.

Depends on how good the work is. If the shop is reputable, and they know how to put an LS/V together properly, not a bad deal. I prefer different pistons and rod bolts. with that type of set up, but it really comes down to what you can afford.

Sorry, I'm new here. I usually just hang in the GDD forum and make polls about what people have for lunch, or what color slipstreams I should get.

Lol, he's messing with you man, Rodrez is all over the forum helping people out, even helped me with my VAFC problem, but he still can't spell Vtechck even if he tried!

Seems like a good deal for the LS swap, but be careful with the Vtec head deal, if that shops not doing it right, you'll end up with a big headache. Hopefully they let you check out some of their other work.
