Default To good of a deal?

Thinkin about doing an engine swap for a SOHC to a b18c5. I found one on ebay for $2500 which was sold. I emailed the seller and he has more for 2500. It is everythin needed for a complete swap. He said it had 10000 miles and in excellent condition. Does this seem too cheap?

you better go pick that one up in person, otherwise you'll never get your motor

??? When i ordered my B20. I first asked for B16.. they were out. But price on B16 package was 2300. Then tried B18c. That would have been 2700 w/o mounts. Ended up with B20b, with GSR tranny for 2200...

$2500 seems too low. It's probably a JDM B18C-R. I don't understand how some people are selling for $2500 when they go for about 2 grand more. Something does seem fishy.

I thought 2500 seemed a little low too. Do u think a b18c5 is worth the money or should i think about something cheaper like a b16a2? What kind of 1/4 mi times will a stock b18c5 and b16a2 run in a 99 civic ex?

I love the B18C5 and highly recommend it. I think the best thing would be try and get a ride in one, go to local get togethers, etc. Expect to pay a good amount for it though, ALOT more than 2500 at least. Dont even waste your time finding out if that deal is real.
