Default Is this a good deal?

A found a guy who was going to part out his civic si (I don't remember the year but its a 92-95). I asked him what he would sell the whole car for, and he said $1200. It got hit pretty good from the back, everything from the doors up is in good shape, he wasn't sure about the rear brakes and trailing arms. The engine and tranny have 140,000 miles on them.

I'm thinking about getting it so I can swap over the black interior, options like power locks and windows, and the engine and tranny into my cx. The rest of stuff I would sell off.

Is $1200 a good price for the car?

I wouldn't pay more than 600 for that. No junkyard will either.

Thanks for the replies, I'm glad I asked.

What do you guys think a good price is for the complete interior?

Wow, where can I find an interior that cheap? I've been looking on ebay and craigslist, and there is no way to find seats, carpet, dash door panels, all the plastic pieces, plus all the other random interior stuff for even close to that.
