Going to build a turbo SOHC, d16z6 vs F23a1
Curious what the difference is in these motors, going to want a manual trans not sure what to go with for the f23 id prolly be putting a y8 trans on the d16 built block and head, I hear the y8 trans holds up better with boost vs the z6, if someone could point me in the right direction as for what motor would be best that would be very much appreciated.

OMG another one.
Please. Please. Please. Make use of all the information that is at your fingertips. There is an excellent FAQ in this forum as well as one in the Forced Induction forum. Read both of those many many many many many times and when you have a better grasp on things come back with a parts list for us to look over.
And there is no such thing as "best". Don't be that person in my sig.

Ok, not which motor would be best but which would be better? are there good quality aftermarket parts for the f23a1, do people build these for boost, or do most just stick with the z6? and why? From what im getting of it, the f23 is basically a big block z6 i may be wrong i havn't been dealing with honda motors for very long. I have questions of my own and if its not to much trouble for someone to answer them i would appreciate it. Looking at answers to other peoples questions doesn't always pertain to my situation hence why forums like these exist
