Lower your air pressure in your tires. Feather the clutch.
Practice will do more than anything else for your launch.

whenever i'm gonna launch i normally put it up to around your peak torque, which for me is around 5k, but for the 00' Si your probly more towards 7k i believe. but that would be a pretty high drop unless you can really feather the clutch off the line but you don't wanna smoke your clutch either. i would probly do around a 6k or 6500 launch

- tires at 20 psi
- feather the clutch out the box
- if you have adj. struts set them to the stiffest in the back and the softest in the front
- launch it at about 3.5 - 4k for starters and just work your way up until you master the clutch work
- most of all just have fun
good luck let us know the results

Sorry to some what bring this back, just curious at to why you would make the front struts soft and rear stiff... Thanks

You want to keep as much weight on the front tires to help with traction. When you launch weight transfers to the rear of the car taking weight off of the front tires causing a slight loss in traction. If the rear shocks are sitffer it will counteract the weight transfer a little bit helping in traction.
