gm synchromesh?

Default gm synchromesh?

i've heard the synchromesh is good tranny fluid and i just wanted to make sure because i'm about to go drain my tranny and put te new stuff in. the bottle i bought looks different then what i've seen in pics on this page.

Did you get the normal or "Friction Modified" tranny fluid? You want the "Friction Modified" fluid.

Do a search fella, it's covered here atleast once a week.

Some people swear by it; and you need about 2.3quarts

Ooops I made a wrong assumption.

YES it works very well. best tranny fluid ever IMO. It got rid of my 3rd and 5th grind. 12 bucks a quart though, and yeah buy 3

D-series only need 1.8 apparently...my tranny starts overflowing before the 2nd bottle is empty

Yep 1.8 according to the helms as well.

EDIT: I'm about to try this Friction Modified stuff as well.

not entirely. I had a 3rd gear grind at high rpm, and the regular syncromesh took care of it.
