Getting there......in a SOHC VTEC!
14.85 @ 89 mph NA.
13.27 @ 103 mph juiced.
I only made one pass on the bottle, I didn't bring my helmet.
Also was using my skinny 20x6x14 slicks instead of the wider 20x8x14's.
Best NA 60' was 1.98
Best NOS 60' was 1.89
Stock motor with I/H/E and slicks

I had a local crankshaft shop machine & balance it. They have and old guy that used to play with aircooled VW motors. It ended up costing me $150 or so and 3 weeks time. The old man only works 2-3 days a week and NEVER gets in a hurry.
BTW....Kaaz for racing, Quaife if car gonna be a daily driver.

Re: Getting there......in a SOHC VTEC! (broke1)
Well, the best my coupe ever ran was a 16.2, but that was with a full interior, full tank. A/c and PS belts on. With the exedy clutch, 14 lb flywheel, aem pulleys, weld up muffler, b&m fpr, i was running 10.2 1/8th mile times. Oh yeah, i forgot about the gude head. Oh well, I just ate my differential the other day. So out with the z6 i guess. I'm supposed to have it sold already, but i've got to drive 6 hrs to drop it off.
BTW: good times, i knew there were people running good times with single cams, It just wasn't going to happen for me in the coupe though.
