getting sidemarker to blink in sync with corner plus stay on when not signaling?
hey guys how do i wire up my sidemarkers so that there on and when i signal they blink along and at the same time as my corners?
i know that if i do black/green wire it would do that but then it stays off when i dont signal
and i also know that if i go red/green it would light up but blink alternatly with my corner which i think is kinda gehy
and also also know that the jdm is that it stays off and only comes on when i signal, but i dont want it that way. thanks buds

There are soo many cars around here with JDM sidemarkers that are lit all the time... it's ******* annoying. If you go through the trouble of cutting holes for the markers, etc... then wouldn't you want them to be correct? as in not being lit all the time

Use a standard bosch type relay, wire them up using pin 30 as the main power feed from a parking light, and the N/O(normally open) lead as your switcher...use one of the turn signal leads to energize the relay and it'll flash in sequence with the turnsignals.
Of course, they'll only be on while your sidemarkers are on, but why would you drive around with your sidemarkers on all the time?

I dont know what kind of bulb is in these things ive never seen one, but could you put a dual filiment bulb in there? one side wired to your parking lights, on all the time and the other side to your turn signals? if not get your self 2 relays and wire them up as follows.
A = 12v+
B = Ground
C = Parklight power 12v+
D = Jdm Light thingie
E = blinker input
(I dont have a relay handy to check the exact pinouts)
___________
E
A D C
____B_____
Hope that makes sense, double that up for the otherside so one will be the right side and the other will be the left.

Your side markers have 2 wires. One goes to the (+)signal light and the other goes to the (+)park lights. Very simple and easy. No need for relays.
