Getting a free 1st gen B16 long block. What do I need to change to OBD-2?
Yeah so my dad in Jamaica bought a auto B16 long block from a guy for $180 and is sending it to me as a christmas gift. I am going to do a full turbo building using urberdata but just to keep things easy after i finish the build I am going to drop it in my car NA before i get the turbo stuff.
What do i need to do to change to obd-2. I think i have a basic idea let me know what else i need:
- obd-2 ecu
- change to 4-wire o2
- obd-2 dohc distributor
- obd-2 injectors (can i use my y8 injectors)
- obd-2 crankshaft sensor (can i use my y8's)
- obd-2 dohc throttle body with my map sensor (i think i just need a obd-2 intake mani to make things easy)
anything else. let me know
ps: I already know about the cams and the single valve springs. I going to get some gsr cams and gsr dual valve springs soon.
