Getting an Exhaust...Greddy Evo?
Hey guys, getting an exhaust really soon, like basically when people get back to me on this. I plan on going turbo in the very near furture first off. I need a new exhaust and I want something quiet, so I was thinking Greddy Evo? how does this sound? is it a good exhaust? any other good suggestios for quiet exhausts to use with mild turbo setups? RS-R?

good exhaust, sounds good, not too quiet, but not nearly as loud as others. Consider a high flow cat as well. The stock cat will be a heavy restriction.

Ppl also like Thermal for a quiet exhaust. I'm getting mine soon But I've also heard good things about the Evo

I had the EVO on my 00 SI. I loved it sounded good, looked good. If you going turbo I'd go 3" Thermal though. Flows better for turbo

good exhaust. I hae to say it really isn't the best. Spend some more money on a custom one. It will better fit your needs.

id go with the custom too..ur new exhaust may meet ur need s currently.. but then after the turbo u may need wider tubing
2 1/4" will work for u now...but consider 2 1/2 to 3" with the turbo...and i don t know of any 2 1/2 or 3" cat. back systems that ll meet ur needs
for ur turbo ull want to get new downpipe as well as a wider *in/out* cat. that ll match up to ur new exhaust

id say to start out with a 2.5, this way that if you do boost, you can still run it for a bit while in your low to mid numbers.. if you start to go crazy and wanted to really start doing some damage, then of course 3" would work out for you afterwards, plus you would have more of a resale chance selling your 2.5 then if you went with a NA 2.25" system
