Default Gettin a tune up anything you would do different

Ok so i have a 2000 civic ex with I/H/E and its time for me to get a tune up, this is the stuff i was going to use. Let me know if you would do it a different way. The ones that have 2 what one is better with my set up...

Fuel filter- AEM (is it worth the money???) OR OEM?
Spark plugs- Already bought NGK plugs...
Spark Plug Wires- NGK OR OEM?
Dis cap and rotor-OEM?
adjust/pcv valve-OEM?

I think that is all i should need. And my car should finally run fine... Thanks so much guys!

I would just buy what the local auto store has, ends up being cheaper for you. By run fine what do you mean, you are having issues now?

OEM Everything.

On top of these items, you're also missing key ingredients; fluids.

Oil Change.
Get your transmission fluid flush and swap for fresh OEM MTF. This is a must for every 15k miles, I beleive, but I don't follow this rule, and I do it a bit after.
Radiator flush, if never performed
Power Steering Flush, if never changed in the car's life.
OEM DOT3 Hydraulic Fluid replace, if 5-speed, if required and dirty.
OEM DOT3 Brake Fluid Bleed and replace, if required, and dirty.

It doesn't hurt to use SEAFOAM through the intake manifold's vacuum source, while spraying the throttle body with a cleaner; I use Valvoline TB cleaner; make sure you use old plugs for this option, then install new plugs.

I got all the stuff I mentioned above changed and replace a few weeks back; drives like a champ!

so if i bought all the stuff and took it to a shop to have it put in you think it would be cheaper than just getting evrything with them. I get 30% off honda parts too by the way. Oh and i need a shop to put it in so i can show that is was done. So when i sell my car i will have the records... Thanks for the help yo

If you get parts at 30% off, get them yourself. A shop is going to mark them up before selling them to you.

Many people stiil call it a flush, even though its just a drain/refill.

Yes, that's what I meant. The word "FLUSH" seems to linger, when it's dain and fill.
