Genuine Honda igniter 30130-P06-006...who makes it?
My car doesn't pass OBD2 emissions in my state, so every year I have to spend a certain amount trying to "fix" the check engine light problem in order to get a waiver sticker. This year I thought I'd replace the ignition coil and igniter unit.
Some say that Hitachi and NEC are good and to avoid OKI. Keep in mind that I'm NOT trying to be cheap. If buying a genuine Honda igniter is definitely superior and the best available, that's what I'll get, but when I do a search for 30130-P06-006, Hitachi shows up in some of the results, and it's about 1/3 of the price! Does anyone know who makes OEM part# 30130-P06-006? Thanks for the help!
