Which gen b16a block do I have???
Just bought a b16a block and I was wondering which block I have...? How can I tell the difference? Would it swap into my obdII car with any problem??? Still a beginner...Thanx

All gens are B16A block are pretty much the same.
Most have PR3 pistons, and make 160hp...all usdm models do regardless of year.
In Japan, the 2nd gen B16A came with a P30 piston, giving 0.1 higher compression, good for about 2-3hp more

The second gen used a hydraulic tranny if I'm nit mistaken right? Anyone care to correct me if I'm wrong...

Hey i have a b16a6 in my vtec but sleeves are cracked water gets on to my pistons so i went and got a new block but now this block says b16a no number? So looks like this on tag
