Re: Gearing is CRAZY!!!! (forcefedferio)
I took the tranny apart the other day to put in a new throwout bearing, and than I put it back on my motor. And than after that, thats when the backwards gearing started to happen. I dont have grinds or nothing when I shift. It's just the way I have to shift the reverse way is kind of odd! Anybody else with an explanation?

Ha I love it
Did you open up the tranny or just take it off the motor. I don't think you needed to open the tranny to do a throught out bearing.
And is the bearing any better? Just a side question

Re: (97Ej6mike)
Haha yeah, after replacing the TOB it sounds quiet. But for correction, you do need to pull the tranny off the motor to replace the TOB. I guess this is the work of the Honda GODS! ROFL.... But im still pissed because my shifting is retardid!!!

I know you have to take it off the motor to do the TOB. I asked if you opened the tranny. Not took the tranny off the motor.
If you opened the tranny say to do a maishaft bearing you may have put the gears in back ward or out of order.
I don't even know if that is possible.

No, it isnt possible to mount the shafts upside-down, even if it were taken apart
Even if they were, the forks wouldnt fit either.
Its BS
BTW, even Japanese transmissions shift:
1-3-5
2-4-R
Same as usdm

Re: Gearing is CRAZY!!!! (sageuvagony)
on a rod shifted tranny i cant see this being poss, but i did put a h22 in a 88 prelude , on factory 88 tranny shift rod on tranny goes down and on a h22 rod faces up so in this application shifts where reversed 2nd was 1st etc , you pulled down and over for 3rd kinda sweet actually , left it that way till race season , so i call bs

You can't bullshit your way out of this one.
It's pretty obvious you have no clue how the shift linkage and shift rod/fork assembly works.
GTFO. And don't ever post garbage like this again. You're an insult to everyone's intelligence.
Pictures, what a riot. As if that would show us anything . . .
