i just picked up a set of ground controls for my '00 civic, and i was reading the instructions for the AGX's (which are the shocks i have for my car), and it said for the fronts, to trim about a 1/4" off of the section on top of the perch, near the "drain hole". i was just curious as to those people who have installed gc's with agx's, how did you go about doing this? what tools did you use to trim this part? will using a dremel be ok? thanks in advance.

I just used a bench grinder and a file to smooth it out. I dremel would work also.

I didn't do it to mine and they have been working fine for about a year now.

didn't do mine either...haven't run in to anything in about a year. i kept an eye on them as we were lowering the car off the jack stands and they seemed to seat just fine.
